How we are made:
Bottles are first collected from oceans and our water ways which are then washed and dried. After drying, bottles are cut into a single strip, demonstrated in the video on the right hand side, with a width of 5mm and a length depending on the bottle shape. Then, the bottles are heated and extruded through the pulley machine mechanism at temperatures upto 190° creating 1.75mm 3D printing filament ready to be attached to a spool, then a printer and print the bottle shape. This video demonstrates a green bottle that we are working on.
